Afghanistan 2012-2013

Well. Here I am, in lovely Afghanistan. Quite nice this time of year actually. Rain, less bombings, few ambushes. Not bad!

I am deployed here with the Army as a Combat advisor. I am here to work on training the ANCOP (Afghan National Civil Order Police) and ANA (Afghan National Army) to be self-sufficient by the time coalition forces pull out.

Right now, there's little to tell, but as my deployment chugs along, I will add some cool stories and pictures.
As of now, I have been through Kandahar (POG central) and Herat. Should be making some cool trips and doing some decent missions out there, excited to see the Afghans make progress and take control of their business, so the rest of the world can stop worrying about it!

-Till next time,
